A practitioner's edition · Limited release

A tactile map for the conversations that matter.

WonderWheel is a hand-crafted canvas of 140 emotions — built for therapists and practitioners guiding individuals, couples, and groups of all ages toward deeper emotional attunement.

WonderWheel is a delight. It translates the science of emotions to help people build skills and feel deeply in an act of true connection.

The tool

An emotional map you can put your hands on.

140 feelings gathered into 28 emotional families and arranged in a wheel — the more intense feelings sit at the top, the quieter ones at the bottom; unpleasant to the left, pleasant to the right.

Who it's for

Made for the practitioners doing the slow, careful work.

This edition is for clinicians and facilitators working with individuals, couples, and groups of all ages on emotional attunement, repair, and shared understanding.

Therapists

A non-verbal way in for clients who intellectualize, freeze, or can't quite locate the feeling.

Couples & relationship coaches

A shared surface where partners can show — not just tell — what's moving in them.

Group facilitators & somatic practitioners

A tactile object that slows the room down and invites the body back into the conversation.

This past week, I sat with a mother and her two boys, using WonderWheel to talk through feelings and events from the challenging day. It was magical to watch their bodies soften, relax, and genuinely enjoy the experience together. The product is not only visual and tactile, but also deeply calming for the students and families I serve.

Jessica Molloy, President of WHILDE LLC — serving families with neurodevelopmental diagnoses

The students in my class LOVED it. We did a brief activity where one person shared an emotionally laden story and the rest of us had to put the stones down to guess the emotions... then, the story teller clarified their emotions... and we discuss the process of perspective-taking and intentional listening.

Gerald Reid, Ph.D. / Boston University / Licensed Psychologist in Private Practice

In practice

  1. 01

    With an individual.

A check-in to open a session, or a way into what they can't put into words.

  2. 02

    With a couple.

Each partner maps their feelings on the same wheel. Two perspectives, side by side, open the conversation.

  3. 03

    With a group or family.

Everyone places their stones. You see at a glance what the room is holding. Check back in at the end — see what changed.

  4. 04

    As a storytelling game.

One person tells a true story. The others guess the emotions with stones. Then the teller reveals theirs. The difference between what was projected and what was felt is what you work with.

The Lab

We're Valentina and Masha, artists from opposite sides of the world.

Since meeting as theatre students nearly two decades ago, we've been exploring how creativity, play, and honest conversation can help people understand themselves and each other.

Wonderment Lab is where we translate the research that inspires us into accessible, engaging tools for everyday practice — designed for curiosity, care, and connection.
